2018: A Year of Giving to Lake Health Foundation
Brunner, Sanden and Deitrick Families Make Largest Donation in Lake Health Foundation History
The Lake Health Foundation has received the single largest donation in its history: $2.5 million from the Brunner, Sanden and Deitrick families. The gift was announced September 29 at the Glitz, the Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser.
In recognition of the landmark gift, Lake Health will name its Mentor Wellness Campus in honor of the families, who are lifelong residents of the area and own Lake County’s largest funeral service company, Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center. The Mentor Wellness Campus, which will now be known as the Lake Health Brunner Sanden Deitrick Wellness Campus, is an 85,000-square-foot facility designed to help residents of Lake and surrounding counties get healthy and achieve optimal wellness. The fully integrated clinical campus, which opened in January, includes health care services to diagnose, treat and prevent health problems, plus LiveHealthy, a membership-based fitness center.
Cynthia Moore-Hardy, FACHE, president and CEO of Lake Health, expressed her gratitude for the families’ ongoing support, “The Brunner, Sanden and Deitrick families continue to make a profoundly positive impact on our community through their philanthropy and inspirational leadership. We’re extremely grateful for the families’ generous gift, which will support Lake Health’s ongoing commitment to nurturing a healthier community.”
