LiveHealthy offers swim lessons for children 6 months and older, as well as for adults. Our warm water pools and family changing rooms make swimming a comfortable and fun experience for all ages.
Parent and Child Swim Lessons (ages 6 months – 3 years)
Developed for children 6 months to 3 years, Parent and Child Swim Lessons help young children get ready to swim by emphasizing fun in the water. Parents and children participate in several guided practice sessions that help kids learn elementary swimming skills, including water entry, bubble blowing, front kicking, back floating, underwater exploration and more.
Preschool Swim Lessons (ages 4-5 years)
Children ages 4 and 5 learn water safety, survival skills and foundational swimming concepts in a safe and fun environment. Skills are age-appropriate, allowing children to achieve success. Must be comfortable swimming without a parent.
American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim (LTS) Program (ages 6-12 years)
Each child progresses through each level at his/her own pace, mastering the skills in one level before advancing to the next. More than one set of lessons might be needed to master the skills required to move up to the next level. Each level of our LTS program includes training in basic water safety, helping others in an emergency and stroke development.
Adult Learn-to-Swim Instruction
This class is designed to help adults of all swim levels to set and achieve personal goals. If you're getting over fears, swimming for the first time, or learning a new stroke, this class will provide you with a personalized plan to help you learn the skills needed to reach your goals.
Adult Stroke Technique
This class is designed to assist adults in refining skills needed to swim more efficiently. Improve endurance and learn to circle swim, streamline off turns, do flip turns, learn to dive and improve breathing techniques necessary for more confidence in swimming laps.
Private Swim Lessons (all ages)
Our private swim lesson program teaches the confidence that children or adults need to be successful in the water. Private swim lessons are offered to members and non-members of any age and can help you accomplish your specific goals. You or your child will have fun with your favorite instructor while learning how to swim or improving your strokes and technique.
Group fitness classes
LiveHealthy offers a wide variety of group exercise classes included at no additional cost to members, including aquatic classes. Working out in water offers great resistance and fun with less stress on your joints. Aquatic classes include Aqua Zumba®, Total Body Intervals, AquaRX and more. See the latest schedule.
