Finding Credible Information Online
While there is a wealth of health-related information available online, not all material is credible or up-to-date. If you would like to research health topics on your own, start with these trusted health information websites. Personalized Research Help
The Carol DeJoy Lake Health Patient and Community Resource Center, located at TriPoint Medical Center, provides access to authoritative, current health information. Our professional librarians will conduct research and select resources for you. Resources include health books, newsletters and DVDs, on topics such as heart disease, healthy aging, pregnancy, nutrition, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, parenting, mental health and more. The resource center at TriPoint also offers health books, newsletters relaxation and meditation DVDs that patients may borrow.
The Library staff is also happy to help patients, families and community members at the West Medical Center Library/Resource Center.

In addition to research help, our Lake Health Resource Centers offers computers with internet access and Microsoft Office, quiet places to work, study or relax, and materials like health books and DVDs that patients may borrow.
