There are many tests we use to diagnose heart and vascular problems. Cardiovascular tests help us understand your risk of heart attack or stroke, pinpoint the cause of your symptoms and guide your treatment planning.
Testing based on your history and needs
Your doctor determines which tests you need based on your symptoms, your risk factors and medical guidelines. For example, you may be experiencing chest pain or fatigue that could suggest heart disease. You may have a family history of heart problems. Your doctor may even order tests if you’re having surgery for something else and may be at risk for cardiovascular complications.
Nationally accredited vascular testing
Our vascular ultrasound laboratory is accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) for extracranial cerebrovascular and peripheral venous testing. This means our facilities meet rigorous national standards for accurate, noninvasive diagnostic testing of vascular disease.
Thanks to our broad range of state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies, we can detect and analyze virtually every vascular disorder, including:
- Carotid artery disease
- Peripheral artery disease
- Venous disease
- Abdominal aortic aneurysms
- Renal artery stenosis
We also offer upper and lower extremity arterial flow studies to measure limb circulation and CT and MR angiography to visualize all arteries and veins.
