Athletic Trainers are health care professionals specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and sport-related illnesses.
Lake Health provides athletic training services to several high schools and colleges in and around Lake County. Our athletic trainers educate players about injury prevention, watch for unsafe situations, administer pre-game taping and more. If an injury occurs, the trainer evaluates it, provides first aid and manages follow-up care.
