Nicholas G. Zaorsky, MD, MS, is the Vice Chair for Education and Director of Genitourinary Radiation Oncology of East Cleveland in the Department of Radiation Oncology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He completed his residency at Fox Chase Cancer Center and went on to become faculty at Penn State College of Medicine. Dr. Zaorsky is a board-certified, independently-funded clinical investigator, with international expertise in the management of prostate cancer, kidney cancer and cancer metastases. He has authored over 150 peer reviewed articles, several international cancer guidelines and two text books. Dr. Zaorsky has obtained funding from the American Cancer Society, Department of Defense and National Institutes of Health. One of his trials, Exercise therapy and radiation therapy (EXERT) for metastatic prostate cancer will soon be open at University Hospitals. His clinical practice will be at UH Mentor Health Center and his research and educational roles span CWRU and CMC/Seidman Cancer Center.
