If you’re taking an anticoagulant, or blood thinner, you should be tested regularly to make sure your blood isn’t too thick or too thin. Our prothrombin “pro-time” Anticoagulation Clinic makes monitoring your medication levels quick and easy. The process is simple: Our nurse practitioner will gently administer a test prick to be sure you aren’t at increased risk for bleeding. If any adjustment is necessary, the nurse will answer your questions and make changes to your medication on the spot.
