Lake Health’s physical therapists treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions, such as injuries from an accident, postural changes from osteoporosis, work-related injuries, stroke-related deficiencies, sports injuries and more. We offer telehealth options for some physical therapy sessions – ask your physical therapist if telehealth visits are right for you.
Usually, the goal of physical therapy is to decrease a patient’s pain while increasing his or her activity level or range of motion. Our physical therapists use several methods to accomplish their goals, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation and traction as well as exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles.
Our physical therapists are highly trained and stay current on practices through ongoing education.
